Learn more about handling fuel in your First Nations community. Offered on the Zoom Platform from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on November 24, 25, and 26, OFNTSC's Fuel Systems Management Program will provide virtual Fuel Handler Training.

Attendees will be familiarized with the factors that affect maintenance management and be guided through the process of implementing a Maintenance Management System (MMS).

This course will cover: 

This training is offered at no charge to First Nations Operators. At the end of this workshop, students should be able to: Apply Canada Labour Code to work situations, Identify types of hazards in the workplace, Know workers and employers' rights and responsibilities, Describe confined space regulation and procedures, Understand and use the WHMIS system.

Offered on the Zoom Platform from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on August 25, 26, & 27, OFNTSC's Fuel Systems Management Program will provide virtual Fuel Handler Training.  This course will cover:  Fuel Systems Identification Visual Inspection Procedures Legislation Receiving Petroleum Products Dispensing Petroleum Products Maintenance Dipping Procedures Grounding/bonding procedures Spill response

The purpose of this online training is to provide participants with the theoretical background required to safely recover, reuse and recycle refrigerants from discarded refrigerant products. A field program will follow the on-line training for those participants who attain 75% on the exam.
