Note: This training is open to First Nations and Tribal Council members/workers/reps only. This training has been designed to provide technical personnel at First Nations and their supporting Tribal Councils with the necessary skills and knowledge required to complete Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and implement Remedial Action Plans and/or Risk Assessment/Risk Management Programs within their communities.

A Transfer Station (TS) plays an important role in a community’s solid waste management system. This course will overview its operation.

OFNTSC is offering a 'Datacall Training Session'. Completion of a Datacall is mandatory for First Nations to receive Blue Box funding.

The objective of the course is to provide information to household hazardous waste operating staff on good operating practices and safety.

This virtual training is for interested Ontario First Nation and Tribal Council representatives (Limit of 1 person per First Nation/Tribal Council). This course is designed to assist landfill personnel, firefighting professionals, and landfill regulators/inspectors in better understanding the challenges and impacts of landfill fires.

Over the course of three half days (9 am - 12 pm) this Online Fuel Handler Training will cover: Fuel Systems Identification; Visual Inspection Procedures; Legislation; Receiving Petroleum Products; Dispensing Petroleum Products; Maintenance; Dipping Procedures; Grounding/Bonding Procedures; Spill Response
