Household Hazardous Waste Operations

This training is open to First Nations and Tribal Councils recommended for Public Works and Technical Managers or anyone with operational responsibilities for a Landfill, Solid Waste Transfer Station, or management of Household Hazardous Waste.

Course Objectives:

• Classifications of various hazardous wastes.
• Proper handling and sorting of collected HHW.
• Site design and layout.
• Health Hazardous
• EPA Regulations, WHMIS and safe handling requirements

It is being offered online/virtually and registration costs are being directly covered by OFNTSC - with thanks to Indigenous Services Canada for the funding.

Print materials will be sent out to registered participants in advance of the training so they must register through OFNTSC.
