Heidi Manitowabi is Anishinaabe-Kwe from Wiikwemkoong on Mnidoo Mnissing. Her educational background includes an advanced diploma in Environmental Technology from Sir Sandford Fleming College, and she attended the Indigenous Environmental Science program at Trent University. Her work experience includes various environmental field work, training facilitation, and community engagement at community and tribal council levels.
Heidi has an understanding of the need to incorporate Indigenous Knowledge into environmental work and looks forward to bringing her expertise to OFNTSC.
