Reaching Home

Reaching Home is a community-based program that provides funding to help prevent and reduce homelessness across Canada. The Ontario First Nations Reaching Home Funding Initiative (OFNRHFI) empowers First Nation communities by providing funding to help them prevent and reduce homelessness. Reaching Home is designed to support the goals of the First Nations Housing Strategy, by supporting First Nations members in maintaining safe, stable, and affordable housing while respecting cultural values and community-led solutions.

First Nations homelessness requires culturally appropriate, tailored supports and solutions developed and led by First Nations for First Nations. These supports will address community needs while generating insights using innovative, culturally specific approaches. The program is open to all First Nations.
