It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation employee, Ian Fortin.
Ian was a beloved friend, colleague, and employee of the OFNTSC for many years. Ian's work touched many communities and positively impacted the lives of the First Nations we serve, through the training of water and wastewater operators.
“On behalf of our Board and staff at the OFNTSC, we would like to express our most sincere condolences to the Fortin family during this most difficult time," said Melanie Debassige, Executive Director of the OFNTSC. "Ian was a respected circuit rider trainer across the First Nations communities in Ontario. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.”
