TechNations 2021 Conference & Tradeshow
"Dedicated to First Nations Success - Moving Forward Together"
TechNations 2021 is a technical services conference and tradeshow hosted by the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) each year.
This year, our theme is "Dedicated to First Nations Success - Moving Forward Together." A common thread that ties OFNTSC to our First Nations clients, communities, and stakeholders is our collective dedication to First Nations' success. As we come out on the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic and begin to emerge from over a year of living in isolation from each other, the best way to move forward is together.
This event brings together Chiefs & Councils, Directors of Technical Services/Public Works, Band Administrators, Water Plant Operators, Emergency and Response personnel, Provincial and Federal Ministries to exchange ideas and information regarding technical services.
This year, our TechNations presenters will touch upon what First Nations success means now, given the lessons learned from the pandemic and working remotely. This could mean there have been innovative new ways to incorporate technology, unique communications methods to advance First Nations success in your area of expertise, or setbacks and the need to try a new approach. This year’s theme focuses on how we will be moving forward together to achieve success this event brings together Chiefs & Councils, Directors of Technical Services/Public Works, Band Administrators, Water Plant Operators, Emergency and Response personnel, Provincial and Federal Ministries to exchange ideas and information regarding technical services.
