2021 OFNTSC Student Classic Golf Day Fundraiser
Every year, the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) hosts the Student Classic Golf Day Fundraiser to fund the Student Achievement Awards which provide financial support to First Nations students completing their postsecondary education. These awards were established to support First Nations students who are currently studying science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) at the post-secondary level.
OFNTSC recognizes the gap First Nations communities in Ontario face with in-house technical support. These awards will help ease the financial burden that students face while taking a positive step in closing that gap. The more students we can support, the greater opportunity we have to grow a network of First Nations professionals that communities throughout Ontario that can be drawn upon in the future.
