The OFNTSC recognizes the time, dedication and sacrifice students have to make in order to achieve their goal of graduation from College or University in the fields of Science and Technology. The Student Classic began modestly as an idea to encourage First Nations students to become interested in careers in Science and Technology.

Today the Student Classic is a vehicle to raise funds for First Nations students pursuing careers in science and technology who may not have the funds to do so. Throughout the past 15 years the OFNTSC has helped over 70 students reach their goal of achieving post secondary education.
The Student Classic would not be possible without the continued support of Private/Public Corporations, small businesses and partnerships the OFNTSC continue to strengthen. The OFNTSC thanks all sponsors past and present for their continued commitment to First Nations students across Ontario.

The 15th Annual Student Classic will be taking place at the Royal Niagara Golf Club on August 26, 2010 at 1 pm. The OFNTSC invites everyone to come out and play a round of golf in support of First Nations students.
