Emeregency Planning announces new training dates for the upcoming year

The OFNTSC's Emergency Planning Service is announcing 11 new training dates for review sessions of phases one, two three and four, and the new Introduction to Recovery training session.  Over the course of the next the Emergency Planning service will be delivering the sessions to First Nations across the province.  

Below is a list of the sessions available for First Nations to attend:

  • Phase 1 and 2 Review Session - Sioux Lookout, July 26-27, 2016
  • Introduction to Recovery - Thunder Bay, August 16-17, 2016
  • Phase 1 and 2 Review Session - Fort Frances, September 27-28, 2016
  • Phase 1 and 2 Review Session - Niagara Falls (First Nations Water Symposium) October 18-19, 2016
  • Phase 3 and 4 Review Session - Sioux Lookout, November 2-3, 2016
  • Phase 1 and 2 Review Session - Sault Ste. Marie, November 2-3, 2016
  • Introduction to Recovery - Sault Ste. Marie, November 22-23, 2016
  • Introduction to Recovery - Rama First Nation (Casino Rama), January 17-18, 2017
  • Phase 3 and 4 Review Session - Fort Frances, January 31 - February 2, 2017
  • Phase 3 and 4 Review Session - Sault Ste. Marie, February 7-9, 2017
  • Phase 3 and 4 Review Session - Rama First Nation (Casino Rama), March 21-23

The OFNTSC invites First Nations in Ontario to send one (1) representative of their community to attend the review sessions. The OFNTSC’s Emergency Planning Service requests that those who have attended prior emergency management sessions allow for others involved in emergency management to participate.
